Postman
Are your APIs ready for AI Agents?
Project Overview
Role: Designer
Year: 2025
In 2025, Postman launched a brand campaign across its platform, targeting San Francisco, New York, Atlanta, and Seattle.
As Postman’s CEO put it: “AI alone won’t improve developer productivity. You need quality APIs to back it up—otherwise those AI gains will end up causing productivity problems down the line.”
The initiative positioned APIs as a foundational necessity for AI functionality, driving a cross-channel message through a web and out-of-home brand activation.
Campaign Design System
Grounded in Postman’s core visual identity, the campaign’s design system introduced focused refinements to elevate the experience and strengthen brand recall. These design elements extended across both web and physical touchpoints, creating a cohesive visual thread from screen to space.
The design playfully highlighted how Postman (P) acts as the missing link—bridging AI and APIs to enable reliable, scalable outcomes.
Campaign Messaging
This campaign reframed AI as an API foundation problem, centered on the question: Are your APIs ready for AI agents? It aimed to show that AI outcomes depend less on new models and more on reliable, well-designed APIs.
Atlanta & Seattle Takeover
The brand campaign initially kicked off in San Francisco. It was then extended out to Atlanta and Seattle along with instances in New York. Videos below showcase the Atlanta and Seattle takeover along with stats from the campaign.
