In 2025, Postman launched its first multi-city brand campaign across San Francisco, New York, Atlanta, and Seattle. The campaign positioned APIs as the foundation of AI, bringing that narrative to life through a cohesive cross-channel system spanning web and out-of-home advertising.

Working extensively across concept and visual design, the work covered everything from the design system to execution across every surface. The campaign generated over 100M impressions, a 40% lift in web traffic, and measurable increases in brand awareness and conversions.

 
 
 
 

Campaign Design System

 

Grounded in Postman's core visual identity, the campaign introduced focused refinements to elevate the experience and strengthen brand recall. A cohesive visual thread ran from screen to street, ensuring the system felt consistent whether someone encountered it on a billboard in Atlanta or a webpage on their laptop.

Central to the concept was a simple but pointed idea: Postman (P) sitting between AI and APIs as the missing link, enabling reliable and scalable outcomes.

 
 

Campaign Messaging

 

The campaign repositioned AI as an API foundation problem, built around a single provocation: Are your APIs ready for AI agents?

The message challenged a common assumption, that better AI outcomes come from better models. The real dependency, as the campaign argued, is on well-designed, reliable APIs. Postman is the platform that gets you there.

 
 

Atlanta & Seattle Takeover

 

What started in San Francisco expanded into Atlanta, Seattle, and New York, taking the campaign into new markets and onto new surfaces. Bus wraps, billboards, and digital placements brought the message to developers and decision-makers where they live and work. The results from Atlanta and Seattle alone demonstrated the campaign's reach and resonance, validating the approach and the creative direction behind it.
